Question : What are some causes of fluctuating liver enzymes? My 22 year old son has had enzymes over 200 and was very sick. Now they are normal and he feels fine. This has been a rotting cycle since July. He has had a liver ultrasound which was normal. He takes fluoxetine as his only medication.
Brief Answer:
No worries
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. FLuctuating liver enzymes with all the work up and ultrasound clear and self resolving is nothing to worry about. . Just keep an eye on any recurrence of symptoms if any in which case you may need to get a detailed clinical correlation for that which i sure it wont come to. Do bi annually liver functions tests to rule out any recurrence.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
