                                    Brief Answer:
Still unpredictable..
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
A viable pregnancy is when we are able to document a heart rate on scan. A heart rate is felt as early as 5 weeks on transvaginal scan. It can appear as late as 7-9 weeks on abdominal ultrasound scan.
With regards to foetal pole it can appear as late as 9 weeks.
I assume the reports were as documented by an abdominal ultrasound scan. At 7weeks, only gestational scan without foetal pole and heart rate is found. This is still not viable yet. Though the chance of viability is slightly lower, we can wait for a week more and repeat ultrasound scan.
I am sorry if I had been outright. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards

Both the scans were TVS. My blood sugar levels are fluctuating and towards a higher end. Can elevated sugar level cause the delay? Please note I am on below medication.
dupaston 2wice a day + Multivitamin + Ecospirin + Eltroxin 100mcg + Carbophage XR 500mg twice (for high blood sugar)

                                    Brief Answer:
No diabetes don't affect fetal growth...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
High blood sugar doesn't influence fetal growth. It has an impact in later stages of pregnancy though. As mentioned earlier, this pregnancy is not viable yet.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other specific questions.
