Brief Answer:
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV/STD.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Oral sex (cunnilingus) carries a low risk for HIV/STD when compared to anal and vaginal sex as per CDC XXXXXXX United States of XXXXXXX (https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/estimates/riskbehaviors.html)
At the same time, timing and portion of the tongue exposed have no matter in the transmission of HIV/STD.
The possibility of HIV/STD transmission can be ruled out with appropriate blood test and culture test after the window period.

Brief Answer:
3 months is an optimum period to detect HIV /STD.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Window period for HIV is 12 weeks or 3 months. For some other STDs, like Syphilis, it will be lesser. But around 3 months most of the STD /HIV can be detected. If there is no other symptoms, throat swab and culture are not necessary.

Brief Answer:
Test after 3 months is more valuable than the test on 4 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
4th generation HIV (COMBO /DUO), test has two components. Antigen detection is reliable by 4 weeks, whereas antibody detection part can be taken as conclusive only after 12 weeks after the risky contract. Antigen part can detect only HIV 1 infection whereas antibody part can rule out both HIV 1&2. But HIV 1 is more prevalent throughout the world to the extent of more than 90% except certain parts of XXXXXXX

Your decision is very much correct.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
It will be absolutely alright. With the 4th week test itself you will be able to know your status to the extent of 99%. It will be 100% conclusive by 12 weeks. I am sure that you will be getting a negative result for both HIV /STD.
