Brief Answer:
Avoid negative thoughts and get tested after one month.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your query and understand the concern you are worried about. Being your physician try to solve them at earliest.

You had protected sex with a prostitute then there is no risk of getting any STI or HIV so don't panic too much. 4th generation HIV Duos is reliable after 2 weeks but more after 4 weeks so you can go for repeat testing after one month without any tension as the risk is practically nil in your case.

Fever, fatigue and weakness with high WBC count is due to some other infection but not related to HIV. Consult your physician to isolate the cause and follow the treatment regime as per advice. You will be fine within few days so don't get worried.

Allay the fear of HIV and remove negative thoughts or ideas from your mind because you are safe and risk free. You can consider counselling services if needed. For any further query get back to me again and I am always here to help you out any time.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
It is just as per guideline for HIV testing.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

You are absolutely right that P24 antigen for HIV is detectable in blood after 14 days but as per routine guidelines you need to get tested again at 1 month and 3 months to get more conclusive result.

If the condom got teared you came to know about it but it was not like that so calm down your self. The risk is not there so it is also not possible to get positive result after being reported negative earlier.

HIV Duos test is definitely reliable after two weeks so don't get tensed and forget about the past. For any further query you can ask me any time and I am always here to help you out straight way.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
You are absolutely safe.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM once again.

4th generation Duos with p24 antigen and HIV RNA PCR all were negative after 28 days then no need to worry at all as you are safe and risk free. These results are considered highly reliable and accurate.

HIV2 RT PCR is also negative, no matter what the value is because HIV2 is very uncommon in XXXXXXX and found mostly in West XXXXXXX and Sab Saharan Region so don't get anxious or worried about that.

Be relaxed and forget about the incidence without taking so much of tension because there is no risk of HIV in your case. Consider counselling services if needed with the help of psychiatrist. If still more queries left in mind feel free to ask me any time.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
The viral load in blood depends on stage of infection.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

P24 antigen detects for HIV1 and as per my advice you should forget about HIV2 because I don't think it is common in XXXXXXX so be relaxed and calm down yourself. You will get more and more confused and tensed with more number of articles you will read.

I am not seeing any possibility of HIV infection for your exposure and the test results are also saying the same thing than why are getting tensed deeply. The viral load in the blood depends on the stage of infection so it is not possible to say actual amount.

As you had told but frankly speaking I never heard any such common HIV2 cases in my life because it is very rare and I have not come across to any case of HIV2 in XXXXXXX in my professional carrier so forget the incidence and move ahead in life happily.

Thank You
