What Are The Chances Of STD Transmission Through Non Penetrative Sexual Activity?

Likely viral fever, flu or urinary infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.
1. Giving a hand job is never associated with HIV transmission.
2. After HIV your semen is ejected out of the penis and no entry of any virus is possible.
3. You might be having a viral fever or flu symptoms or it might be urinary tract infection due to unhygienic surrounding in the massage parlor. If there are worsening urinary symptoms then please get your urine tested for infection.
STDs cause symptoms like burning urination, rashes or discharge from penis after 1 to 2 weeks. Therefore STD is less likely.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,
Dr.Vivek

can you clarify your second statement? Please.
"2. After HIV your semen is ejected out of the penis and no entry of any virus is possible."
After hand job, semen is ejected out of the penis and no entry of any virus
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
Sorry for the typing error.
The statement should have read as follows
2. After hand job, semen is ejected out of the penis and no entry of any HIV virus is possible.
I meant to say that for a person to be infected by HIV, there should be a source of HIV and the virus should enter your body through a route of entry. In your case the only route of entry is the penis and you only had a hand job therefore no entry of virus is possible.
Supposing she had given you a mouth job then there was small risk of HIV transmission.
STDs like gonorrhea, syphilis, HPV, herpes and HIV are usually transmitted from vaginal intercourse and less often by oral sex.
In case of a hand job after applying lotion, the risk of STD is least. The only other possibility would be infection because of lying down on a dirty couch.
Most STDs cause symptoms after 1 to 2 weeks and testing for STDs is recommended after 30 days for accurate result.
Urinary infection might happen after few days and that is why I put it as one of the possibilities. However small risk of STDs from lying on dirty couch cannot be completely ruled out.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
1. Its great to hear that she put a clean wrap over the couch. Then the possibility of STDs is extremely low.
2. Guess a UTI might be the problem causing pressure symptoms in the penis.
3. Please try and drink adequate amounts of water and fluids and flush your urinary system. Keep a watch over any urinary symptoms for the next few days and if required then get yourself tested for UTI. Please do not panic.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
