Posted on Fri, 26 Dec 2014
Question: Hello doctor ,

Im XXXXX and i got some question ask about stds . About four month ago i had sex with a comercial sex worker during sex my condom broke .After that incident i have been through lots of stress and i felt lots of symptoms after that. The symptoms are such as lose motion with blood in it , some hard nerves at the neck , sore throat , unusual stomach pain , right side of the throat is pain when its press harder with finger , also slightly painful when the throat is dry and i swallow anything and i think i got a some unusual skin rash in the penis head .

So after the incident every month i tested for stds and hiv .The test showed all negative every month for stds and also hiv . Since its been three month im free from hiv i guess but doctor said to do test again after 3 month .

But during all my test HERPES TYPE 1 show positive in very high amount in term of its reading and its very higher compared to the reference range . Now its been nearly going to be four month im free from all other symptoms but only the throat pain is still there and also im not very sure its throat pain or anything else because i feel normal sometime and sometime when the throat is dry then i feel painful when i swallow anything on one right of the throat or neck so always keep drinking water keep it hydrated.
What i suppose to do now ?

Thank You
doctor

Brief Answer:
Throat condition is basically due to anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the possibility of any STD after the incidence.

I have gone through the complete query with diligence and after thoroughly interpreting the query I reassure you that your condom break incidence has got no relationship with the pre seen throat condition or any of the previous symptoms.

The throat condition appears to be simple anxiety related condition and nothing serious about it.

Even then to help you best I request you to kindly upload your reports especially the herpes one to guide you best regarding present condition.
