Detailed Answer:
It depends on exact cause of stroke. Most people will suffer from another XXXXXXX stroke in future but it is hard to predict will real insult occur. if this person smoke,have high bp and sugar or high lipids,then stroke is likely to reoccur. Also,if there is carotid attery blockage then stroke will happen again very likely. so for such patients is advisable to do carotid ultrasound, and regulate those parameters that i ve mentioned above.
