Question : I had sex protected with no slippage or break - I have a bit of uncomfortable feeling in the head of my penis. This could be me being paranoid but I recently had sex with my wife and she bled afterwards - she went to the doctor and they are testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Is it possible and what is the likely hood of contracting one these even though I had no breakage or slippage and the condom use was used correctly

Brief Answer:
No chance if protected intercourse.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering.
If you had protected intercourse then there is no chance of STDs like Gonococci and chlamydia to get transmitted.it also protects against HIV syphilis etc.Only some STDs like herpes warts which can be transmitted by skin to skin contact cannot be prevented totally.
Here the symptoms(Partner symptoms not clear) may be due to uterine or hormonal or other causes.it is better done if white discharge Is present.
You can get back for clarification.
Thank you
