Question : I m 7 month pregnant and I got suffered from hepatatis e in my 5th month after one month my reports came normal this month I had blood test in tat anti hev igg is showing positive.how long does it shows positive after infection.my scan reports for baby is normal.what are the side effects or chances of premature label in this case?

A positive IgG Anti HEV suggests that your were infected in the past . It doesn't mean that you are still infected or something is wrong in you.

As of for how long the IgG shows positive, it can remains positive for months to 1-2 years. Don't worry about that.

You have completely recovered from Hepatitis Infection. So there is no risk for your baby or any chance of premature delivery.

So relax.
