Question: when should i worry about pneumonia. I am taking Tamaflue, Robatussin with codene and using tylanol for fever and general aches and pains. I have coughing spells I am a smoker, diabetic with have cvd. I have had pneumonia shot which is currant

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

You are taking Tamiflu (oseltamivir phosphate),an antiviral drug,Robitussin ,a narcotic cold medicine and Tylenol (Acetaminophen).

This will cover only influenza visa vis viral pneumonitis.

You should be worried if you are slow to respond to therapy & should be evaluated by a doctor at about day 3 (sooner if the condition is worsening rather than simply not improving).
