Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) Taking I-pill within first 24 hrs of unprotected sex (2 hrs in this case) gives more than 95% protection against unwanted pregnancy. In this context, your chance of pregnancy is EXTREMELY LOW.

2) You got withdrawal bleeding after 5 days due to effect of the pill and it is QUITE COMMON and PHYSIOLOGICAL phenomena. Most women get this type of bleeding. However, next period date may be delayed or earlier.

3) You got your period 7 days before expected due date due to effect of the pill and as a result of hormonal imbalance with associated old endometrial tissue. You should maintain genital hygiene properly.

4) You can undergo one home pregnancy test to clear doubt and it will give you much stress relief.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and practice safe sex.

Regards,
Dr Soumen

Brief Answer:
PERIOD IS OVER.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

This type of vaginal discharge is MOSTLY due to effect of the pill as a result of hormonal imbalance, old endometrial tissue and pelvic infection.

It suggests that your period is over. However, you may get mild spotting or irregular period for next 1-2 cycles. Maintain genital hygiene and avoid stress.

Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion.

Good luck and all the best.

Regards,
Dr Soumen
