Brief Answer:
Unlikely pregnant, pls repeat pregnancy test

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Usually home pregnancy test is accurate when done at least 15 days after unprotected sexual intercourse.

As you have had sexual intercourse on 9th July, any possible pregnancy would have been picked up as positive if pregnancy test was done after 23 July 2014.

As you have had your periods starting 23 July and it was normal duration, it is likely that you are not pregnant.

However, as you have not yet had periods this month, it is important to wait for up to a week after expected date of periods. This is because sometimes the periods may get delayed due to stress related anxiety.

Mean while you may repeat the pregnancy test once more if you wish.

It is not wise to take abortion pills without confirming pregnancy as it can cause hormonal imbalance in you.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
