What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Protected Sex?
Question: My wife gave birth to child on 23 Dec 2014.No periods yet.Had protected sex via condoms. No pills. What are d chances of re-pregnancy? shud we test it out on safer side?
Brief Answer:
Negligible chances of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
As you haven't had periods yet there are very less chances of pregnancy and especially when you are having only protected sexual activity.
But in case you are not breastfeeding your baby then chances of ovulation increase so keep breastfeeding exclusively to have full contraceptive benefits.
Right now just do a pregnancy test once and in case negative then only protected sex will help in preventing pregnancy.
Also alternatively you can have copper T insertion for hassle free intimate life.
All the best.
