Question : Hi.thanks for your answers the other time but just to let you know,i still went ahead to take postinor because I couldn't just get it off my mind but it didn't alter my period has it came the exact day 8th of may. I need to clarify something, on the 17th of this month, my bf cam inside of me between the hours of 8-9pm. I took the 1st tablet of postinor 18th of May @ 7.05pm and the 2nd 19th @ about 7.05am but i didn't get any withdrawal bleeding like I normally get anytime I have to take postinor within 5-6days. Just having the mild lower abdominal pain to my right and this very little spotting that I get only when I wipe after urinating yesterday and the day before. It is not flowing. Any chance that the postinor didn't work?and any chance of getting pregnant?

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
The chances of pregnancy are very low in your case as you had postinor within 72 hrs.after unprotected sex.
Withdrawal bleeding is a side effect of postinor and may occur due to hormonal imbalance because it contains high dose of hormone in it.
So spotting could be due to side effect of postinor.
Wait and watch for your menses,if not resume in 7 days then get your home urine pregnancy test.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. Was just wondering why this particular episode is different because I always get a withdrawal bleeding anything there is a reason for me to take postinor apart from the previous one which I took about 4days to my last period on the 8th of May. That is why am so bothered and have been thinking for the past few days of any possibility of the postinor not working and as a result getting pregnant

Hello dear,
Sorry for such a long delay in my response because I was stuck somewhere.
This particular episode is different from other previous episode but I think it could be due to hormonal changes only.
Because withdrawal bleeding only a side effect of emergency pill due to hormonal imbalance it is nothing to do with pregnancy whether it occur or not.
So in your case also it is only due to hormonal changes.
