default
Posted on Mon, 12 Oct 2015
Question: Hello sir, I had unprotected sex at 12:30am and took unwanted 72 within an hour and then we had sex at 4:00am and didn't take pill after that. Would I be pregnant?

Is it necessary to have contraceptive, I mean birth control pill after sex? Will it not work if it is taken before?

What is the best way for birth control after unprotected sex?

Brief Answer:
Birth control pills are effective even before sex

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear
welcome to health care magic
I can understand your concern.
in my opinion the emergency contraceptive pill can be taken just before sex also.
it will offer 90% protection from pregnacy.

it will be as effective as taken after sex.

the important point is pill to be taken with in 72 hours after sex.

I suggest you to consider following safe sex practice like condome.
