Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is not possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to me.

If you have regular cycles, your ovulation would fall around 14th of October. Hence, you cannot conceive with an intercourse on the 26th. Moreover, you have taken the emergency pill which gives 98-99% protection when taken soon after the act.

However, the pill can cause withdrawal bleeding/delayed cycle. Hence, if you become overdue by more than 10 days for your next period, please see an expert for further help.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for any more information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Hi,

I hope I am not pregnant, Just in case my periods do not come as on 30th October , is there any kind of pills or methods i could use to make my periods come earlier?

And if by chance I am pregnant , when would you suggest me to take the test?

Brief Answer:
Can take the test a week after the due date.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

As I mentioned earlier, your chances of pregnancy are extremely slim. The pill can delay your next natural period by a week or two. Hence, if you become overdue by more than ten days for your next period, please see an expert for further evaluation including exclusion of pregnancy through a test and a sonogram.

There is no need to use any additional medication to prepone the period. This would add to the already existent hormone imbalance and can cause menstrual disturbances. Medication may be used if the period does not set in even after ten days and after exclusion of other causes.

Pregnancy test can be taken ten days after the due date for the next period.

Hope this helps.

regards,
Shanti.V.
