What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Unwanted 72?
Question: Hey,
Me nd my girlfriend had sex on 26th pf feb 2015 and on 28 morning she took unwanted 72 also that is before 72 hours.
But when yesturday i.e 2nd march 2015 she did a pregnency test with prega news she found it positive!
Means the result were positive.
Wht to be done now.??? We dont want pregnancy!!

The urine pregnancy tests are not always accurate. There are chances of errors with this. Even if pregnancy is positive, there drugs for abortion.
But Can you please tell me what is the duration of menstrual cycle of your girlfriend? When was she expecting her periods or when did she had her last periods?
The answer to this question will better determine the chances of pregnancy.

The urine pregnancy tests are not always accurate. There are chances of errors with this. Even if pregnancy is positive, there drugs for abortion.
But Can you please tell me what is the duration of menstrual cycle of your girlfriend? When was she expecting her periods or when did she had her last periods?

We had sex on 26 and her periods just got over on 20th of feb. and after 6 days we had sex.
We had sex a day before also and after that for a protection i gave her i pill. i.e.25 also she took i pill but after 26th night she was regularly suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting. She got scared and got 3 prega news 2 of which showed positive but 1 showed negative results.
Fearing from positive results she took a unwanted 72 for being in safe side for the night we spent on 26th so that there be no chances of pregnancy.
And since then till today she is suffering from abdominal pain and vomiting.
And then on 1st march in the eveing she checked with 2 prega news and both showed positive results.
But how can be this possible after i pill taken earlier it has effects till 72 hrs thn after 72 hrs right again a unwated 72 was taken means there was no chance of conciving.
Doctor please advice wht should be done. And what really the matter is.? Is it possible that she might be pregnant!?

Even then, to be on a safer side, i would suggest that she should go for a more confirmatory test which is blood beta-hCG levels. This test will exactly determine her pregnancy status for now.
If possible, get back to me with these test results so that I would advise you accordingly for further management.
Also, if she misses her next periods, this would be the right time and indication to test further for pernancy.
But as she has taken ipill, the chances of pergnancy are further reduced.
for abdominal pain and vomiting,tablet dicylomine and ondanstrone(prescription drugs) can be taken.
consult your gynecologist.
