What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy Post Non Penetrative Sex?

default
Posted on Wed, 18 Feb 2015
Question: Hello
On 16th I had sex with my boyfriend. He didn't put the penis into my vagina. He was wearing an underware and I was not wearing anything. He ejaculated when he was on my butt (along with the underware). Then I could feel some wet liquid on my butt and inner thighs ...although it is very little....i immediately wiped off everything and washed myself with water. To be sure I took an ipill on 17th. Is there any chance I could get pregnant? I was reading some weird things on net that sperm can swim and make its way to vagina etc etc....please help asap

Hello thanks for the reply sir. Could you please tell me if there is any chance that the sperm can enter the vagina in this case? And could you please also tell me if sperm can pass through clothes?? What factors in my case prove that there is no chance of pregnancy?

Brief Answer:
Multiple protections

Detailed Answer:
There are very less chance the sperm will enter vagina in this case. Sperms dont pass through cloths or stay alive till then.

More over you took ipill. All these factors put together show no chance of pregnancy

Hello sir

Thanks for the answers. Please answer me the below questions in detail

1. Can sperm travel through one pair of cotton underwear?

2. I have cleaned myself off after the act but he didn't and he was wearing the same underwear in which he ejaculated...we cuddled up and slept. Will that pose any risk for pregnancy?

3. Normally for how much time will the sperm be active on the cotton cloth?

4. How effective is an ipill taken within 11 hrs?

Brief Answer:
details

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Sperms cannot travel through any layers of cloth and especially underwear.

Sperms survive only for few minutes outside body like in cloth.

Even though he didn't clean up it wont cause pregnancy by cuddling.

Ipill taken by 11 hours is good enough

Brief Answer:
You are not pregnant

Hello

You are not pregnant. The bleeding you are experiencing is due to periods. I was telling you about the same all these days.

Yoi can get serum beta hCG blood test done to rule out pregnancy if you are very concerned about it.

Thank you sir. Thanks for your patience.
One last question. I have heard that there will be withdrawal bleeding after taking an ipill. My last month period was on XXXXXXX 1st and normally my cycle is for 26-28 days.
Yesterday bleeding has started but it is very less and I have mild cramps. Normally bleeding is high for me during periods and I get severe cramps. Its been 12 days that I have taken an ipill so I am confused between the withdrawal blood and my periods.
When should I take the pregnancy test so that It gives me accurate results?

Brief Answer:
Get Serum beta hCG blood test done today

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Withdarwal bleeding would have been earlier. This bleeding after 12 days is more suggestive of regular periods instead of withdrawal.

If you wish to confirm pregnancy get serum beta hCG blood test done today. This is very accurate to predict pregnancy if it exists.
