Question : Hi,
I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and she had taken the first of the 2 pills of postinor 2 within 12 hours, but delayed taking the second by 1 and half hour(13 and half hours later). This incident happened 4 days before her period date. Now she is already 2 days late on period. Could you please let me know if there is any pregnancy worry?

Welcome to HCM,

I can understand your concerns,

There is no chances of pregnancy as Intercourse was done in safe period(4days before period) and for precaution postinor was taken, It further decreases the possibility of getting pregnant.

Delayed period is most probably because of as a side effect of postinor.I will advise her to wait for 7-10days.

If she does not get even after 7days,kindly consult with your gynecologist.
