What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy While On Progynova, Duphaston And HCG Shots?

Question: Hi Doctor,

I am trying conceive since 6 months, i went through follicle scan. Doctor had given be bestova 50 mg for 5 days and they asked me to insert progynova 2 mg for 2weeks and now she has given duphaston for 18days. HCG shot was given on 14th day then egg got ruptured .

What is the chances of pregancy

In my opinion yours is a case of unexplained infertility.

In case of pregnancy the brown discharge might be due to increased vascularity of cervix, hormonal insufficiency etc.

So first it needs to be confirmed if there is pregnancy.

As you have taken the infertility treatment and missed period there might be chance of pregnancy.

So I would like you to do a urine pregnancy test a week after the missed period.

In my opinion the brown discharge could be due to number of reasons like vaginal infections,birth control pills,pelvic inflammatory disease etc.

But in these cases the altered brown discharge is seen throughout the menstrual cycle and discharge is associated with vaginal irritation.

But in your case the discharge is seen around the time of onset of period and is not associated with any foul smell or irritation.

So mostly the discharge could be due to hormonal imbalance.

And as the HCG test is negative the period might start simultaneously.
So the discharge might be related to hormonal imbalance.

But if you have any vaginal irritation I would like you to consult doctor to rule out any vaginal infection.
