Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV 1 and 2 infection beyond any doubt.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The OraQuick test had 93% sensitivity, 99% specificity, 99.93% NPV and 90% PPV.
The negative predictive value for the Oraquick HIV test has a 99.93% of Negative predictive value as the above mentioned study.
The window period for any HIV antibody detection test is not more than 90 days following any risky exposure. Even in a person who has some sort immune deficiency or on immune suppressive drugs or in case of if the individual was on inadequate PEP, the window period would not go beyond 6 months.
Two consequential Negative HIV tests 6 months after the risky exposure can be predicted almost 100% negative predictive value. So Not to worry at all.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV 1 and 2 infection as per the test reports.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Two Negative HIV antibody detection tests done (window period is not beyond 90 days and in special situations never beyond 6 months) 6 months after the risky contact assures you that you are free from HIV 1 and 2.
If one got infected, symptoms of acute infection can occur within 6 t0 8 weeks after the exposure in 70% of the infected. Regular manifestations in the form of AIDS related conditions can occur after 5-7 years after the infection and can be delayed even further depending upon their immune system (Long term non-progressors).

Brief Answer:
To my knowledge these tests are accurate

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Oraquick self check kits are not available. So I don't have personal experiences. But heard about these tests interpretations in many conferences where many international speakers shared their experiences and gathered information from online, I feel these tests are accurate as they claim.
