Brief Answer:
Take ovral L for 2 to 3 months...explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for contacting health caremagic.

Firstly I feel an ovarian cyst of size 3mmx 2mm is really small to be dealt with unless it is 3x2 cm in size.

If it is persistent for last 4 months, it sometimes exist as a persistent corpus luteal cyst which can be taken care of by the oc pills like ovral L when taken for 2 to 3 months. During this period you will not be able to conceive. Repeat ultrasound after 2 months and if not persistent any more then you can be further evaluated for infertility.

Brief Answer:
you may require laparoscopic removal of cyst..

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up.

well, ovarian cyst on one side can affect the growth of follicles of that very ovary but should not effect the other ovary. So fertility is usually not affected.

But if this cyst doesn't resolve after treatment with oc pills for 3 months and there is no change or increase in size then it would have to be removed laparoscopically.

removal would increase your chances of fertility and ovulation.

Brief Answer:
There would be no ovulation...

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for the follow up.

Ovral is a contraceptive pill and it would prevent any ovulation as long as you use it. It is been given to restabilize the internal mileu of the ovary and the cyst can regress thereby.
you would be safe from conception during this whole period with Ovral.
