Brief Answer:
it may be fatal, if you have taken consult emergency medical services

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Sertraline(Zoloft) 19 gm is very much high toxic dose. It can cause serotonin syndrome.Seizures, Arrhythmia, rhabdomyolysis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, Acute renal failure, respiratory failure, bradycardia, bundle branch block, coma, delirium, hallucinations, hypertension, hypotension, manic reaction, pancreatitis, QT-interval prolongation, stupor, syncope and Torsade de Pointes anything can happen with such dose.
In conclusion this is very fatal dose and can lead to death.

Mirtazapine 450 mg is relatively less toxic than zoloft. It can cause tachycardia otherwise no specific clinical or ecetrocardiography changes.

Hope you are just asking that what would happen if such doses are taken.

By chance if you have taken please consult emergency department for treatment.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Dear XXXX,

Thanks for reply and positive approach. You are only 36. Still many years of life is there.
Your situation seems to be very severe as you feel to end your life.

But believe me there is always hope.

Post traumatic stress disorder is a type of anxiety-stress disorder. It can be treated with psychotherapy and medicines.

In psychotherapy CBT-cognitive behaviour therapy and psychodynamic therapy are useful while in medicines SSRI group, specifically paroxetine and Benzodiazepine group of drugs are useful.

You have used word 'complex'. I would like to know what do you want to explain by it.

Please write your detail history with onset of symptoms, medication tried, family and education background and current factors/symptoms which are so frustrating that you do not want to live.

Write to the point and try to include all important all details. I will read carefully.I will try my best to help you as much as possible.

If you do not want to write , please consult your doctor and narrate your situation. If you feel that current doctor is not able to help, consult another doctor. But please give a chance before you think to take any wrong step.

You can ask follow up query and write details in this communication chain or contact me directly also on this site with following link

Brief Answer:
paroxetine and lithium can help

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for reply. I am thankful to you that you have provided some information.I can understand your helplessness and loneliness.

Your thought "everyone will be better off without me" will not be true in reality.Children without mother suffers a lot. For them you need to gather the strength for your improvement.

You have mentioned that you had tried different types of therapies. Which are they?

In my opinion Paroxetine for PTSD as well as lithium in resistant depression with suicidal thoughts work better. If you have not tired them ask your doctor to start the same medicines.

Other option is ECT- Electro Convulsive Therapy. It works well in patients with suicidal ideas.

Have you undergone CBT- cognitive behavior therapy ? If not, it should be started with medicines.

If possible please tell me what therapies/medicines you have tried until now.

Feel free to discuss further.

Take care.
