Brief Answer:
3 criteria for diagnosis of PCOS

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

There are three criteria for diagnosis of PCOS:
1. Clinical hirsutism (facial hair) and/or high testosterone/DHEA
2. Irregular menstruation
3. Polycystic ovarian morphology on ultrasound.
Two out of these three criteria should be positive for a diagnosis of PCOS.

Ultrasound confirms polycystic ovarian morphology but I still need to know the other factors i.e. presence of facial hair, high testosterone or DHEA levels in blood test, irregular periods.

Just to reassure, PCOS is a common problem nowadays and its quite easy to have baby with gynecologist help.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
