Question : Hi, Iam 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant. During 4th week, I did a thyroid test & my tsh was 31 & t3-t4 were normal. Doc asked me to take 50 mcg thyronorm tablets everyday. Now at 12 th week, my tsh is still 9.58. Would it have affected my baby

Yes it can cause problems to the baby as the thyroid levels in early pregnancy are very important.
You need to increase the dose to 100 ug after consulting your Gynae as it is a prescription drug.
