I have gone through your query. Alcohol causes desaturation of oxygen ( decreased intake of oxygen by hemoglobin). It can give some amount of suffocation effect to the body tissues. So if you are having a lower blood oxygen level ( low oxygen saturation) then alcohol consumption can worsen this.
