Question : I have missed a dose of sotalol, 80m , Should I wait for nest dase or take now, 12 hours have passed

Hello Dear,
Thanks for posting query on this forum.
As per your query yes you can take the missed dose right now.
However from tomorrow take the dose at the same time you use to take it everyday.

Just measure your blood pressure before taking the next dose tomorrow.If blood pressure systolic is more then 100mm of hg and pulse is more then 60'min, Take your dose on time.

There is no sense of missing a dose just for the risk of mild additive effect. Sotalol can be administered safely upto doses of 680mg/day.
I personally don't feel that mild additive effect of a optimal dose as low as(80 mg) could increase risk of bradycardia or hypotension.

Just check your blood pressure and pulse tomorrow before having your regular dose.
