Question: Hi Dr. XXXXXXX Rynne,

I've recently started taking Osalr Plus 40mg+25mg for my blood pressure. I'm supposed to take one at breakfast. I've just realised that I took another one by mistake at around 4pm. It's now 22.46pm in my part of the world. I feel fine and my blood pressure is 12/7. Should I go to emergency? Thank you in advance for your help.

Brief Answer:
Only if you have symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

80mg of olmesartan and 50mg of hydrochlorothiazide are too much for a single day. If you have no symptoms though then you should just wait for its effects to subside. Perhaps you should take the next pill at noon and take it in the morning again the day after tomorrow.

If you start having symptoms like faintness, weakness, bradycardia or tachycardia etc then you should definitely go to the emergency room at once!

I hope I've helped!

Kind Regards!
