Thank you for submitting your question. There are several factors which influence the likelihood of pregnancy after sexual intercourse, which may be hormonal (such as ovulatory cycle, sperm count & viability) or even anatomic in nature. Unfortunately
it is essentially impossible to determine an actual number of times intercourse will result in pregnancy. If you are having problems or concerns conceiving, a good medical history & physical exam for both you & yor wife by your physician is the best place to start.
