Question : Our son suffered concussion 2 weeks ago in a skiing accident in Salt Lake City suffering memory loss and had a scan and was cleared after 12 hours in hospital for observation. He was to leave for San Francisco but we encouraged him to wait 48 hours before taking the 90 minute flight.
He has had no further effects or headaches since accident.
He is now about to return to Australia on a 14 hour flight and ask if he should take aspirin or not before the flight home.

First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.
See concussion is a minor injury and will not have any long term effects . If your son has no present problems like Headache ( you have mentioned he doesn't have ) or giddiness or visual blurring or Tinnitus then there is no need for any medications before travelling.
Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .
Regards.
