What Are The Negative Effects Of Swallowing Custard Apple Seed?

Question: My 18 month old daughter swallowed custard apple seed. Not sure what to do. Will it cause any problem. What should I do?

Custard apple seed is vegetative product, no need to panic.
The seed will come out in the stools in a day or two, so please keep a close watch.
How ever if the child is crying without any reason or pointing its tummy and crying, if the child has not passed stools for a day, its better to consult a pediatrician.

If the child is crying a lot, some basic investigations like erect x ray of abdomen or ultrasound scanning of abdomen will be done to ascertain the cause.
Usually the seed won't get stuck any where as it is smooth, they may just give a laxative to ease out the stools so that the seed comes out in the stools easily.
