Brief Answer:
For a normal healthy person fasting sugars <99mg/dl and 2hrs post meal <139
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
For a non diabetic person target fasting sugars should be between 72-99mg/dl and 2 hours post meal sugars should less than 140 mg/dl. HbA1c is more accurate test for blood sugars control as it will show your average blood sugars for the past 2-3 months. HbA1c less than 5.7 is regarded as non diabetic, between 5.7-6.4 is prediabetes and more than 6.5 is diabetes.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have further queries, I'm happy to help you. Thank you.
