Brief Answer:
Do not worry!

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
You should not get worried.
In old patients living alone (who can not take the medicines by themselves) is recommended to give the weekly dose in one day, no side effect is seen.
So I would recommend not to take levothyroxine for 3 consecutive days. After 3 days restart the usual dose.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta

Brief Answer:
Yes, it is a side effect of the high dose:

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Yes it may be a side effect of the high dose, it will go away, just keep monitoring the heart rate.
If you feel palpitations or tachycardia or alterations of the blood pressure, you should seek medical help. In patients with pre-existing cardiac problems, may exacerbate the pathology.
Wish you good health.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
