Question: Hello,

I have a cowlick in the front of my head that looks a little more bare than i remember it. Im a 26 year old female. Am i balding?

Your hair looks normal from the photos you included. If it seems to be thinning in a specific area you may want to have your doctor take a look at it and run some blood tests. Some conditions like thyroid disease can result in thinning hair.
If there are other symptoms like a rash on the skin in that area then you may need to be treated for that. Sometimes a fungal infection can cause a spot of hair loss in some people.
It is very unusual for a 26 year old female to become bald so I would not worry about that.
It is true that there can be some thinning of the hair with age but you are too young for that to be starting.
See your doctor if you think it is progressively getting thinner and get an exam and some blood tests done.
