Question : I accidentally gave my 10 year old a second dose of azithromycin today but was only supposed to give him one dose.
Brief Answer:
You need not worry. It is within tolerated limits
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health Care Magic.
Let me assure you that it will not count as an overdose and you need not worry about side effects with such a dose. However from tomorrow continue giving him one daily dose as prescribed. As of now you can give him plenty of water to drink and he would be fine.
