Brief Answer:
The doses are not that high. You don't have much to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Atenolol 100mg and Spironolactone 100mg are not that high to cause serious trouble in most individuals. Factors that may make them more dangerous include:

- Hyperkalemia that is high potassium levels. Spironolactone will increase serum potassium. So if you're already in the high normal range then serial measurements of potassium might be needed to avoid serious hyperkalemia. This can be determined by a blood test at the doctors office or hospital.

- Low blood pressure: both drugs have a mild to moderate antihypertensive potential, so if your blood pressure was already marginally low, they may cause hypotension. An extremely low blood pressure can manifest as severe fatigue and dizziness.

- Low pulse rate: atenolol reduces heart rate. When the heart rate drops below 50 dizziness and other symptoms may ensue.

- Heart failure: changes in atenolol dosage may decompensate an existing heart failure and cause edema, shortness of breath or other symptoms.

The doses are not that high to fear for drug toxicity besides their usual side-effects.
Since all of the above cannot be evaluated or treated at home, if you have any of the above conditions, you'd better contact your doctor.

I hope I've helped!
