Question : Accidentally took another lotrel 5-40 before bedtime (I take one at 7:00am) instead of a metoprolol X-R 50. I am healthy otherwise 66 yr old with no other meds.

Don't worry both are antihypertensives so they would do the same job.
Don't take metoprolol for next 24 hours after that you can take the medicine as per your regimen.
