Question: My 4 yr old has strep throat and I accidentally gave him his second dose of antibiotics which is augmentin 6 hrs after the first instead of 12 should I be concerned ?

I am so sorry to hear about this mistake administering augmenting 6hours after the previous dose instead of 12. The maximum and toxic dose of augmenting is way above the treatment dose. Toxicity from this mistake is almost zero. There is nothing to be worried about. However, it is always good to administer drugs just as they are prescribed.
