What Are The Repercussions Of Accidental Ingestion Of Harpic Toilet Cleaner?
Question: hi my friend drank harpic 4 weeks ago and gulped some tylenol as well, it has been four weeks since she did that and she is still getting lot of bloody vomit, she cant eat anything, she is just drinking coconut water and tht is also some time doesnt stay, what should we do

Due to corrosive effect of harpic,the gastric mucosa gets damaged and eroded leading to gastric mucosal ulcers.
This causes internal bleeding and bloody vomit.
If it has been 4 weeks already and if there is no improvement in her symptoms,then i would suggest you to consult a gastro-enterologist and get a gastro-intestinal endoscopy done.
This has to be done as early as possible to avoid long term side effects like fibrosis and stricture formation.
Give her antacids and prebiotics on daily basis.
Avoid spicy and junk food.

well she is not able to retain anything in her tummy, she drinks only coconut water that too sometimes comes out, does eating turmeric pills help? what home care treatment we can do for her
