Question : My baby is 27 days old and has cold for which the pediatrician prescribed Mucolite Drops. By mistake I gave 0.5 ml for 5 times instead of giving 5 drops. Am really worried and scared now. Will anything happen to my child

Usually nothing should happen apart from drowsiness.
If your baby is active feeding well and passing urine well no need to worry.
Just skip giving for next 48 hours.
The medicines will be gone from the body by then
No treatment required.
If your baby becomes drowsy not feeding well cconsult your doctor immediately.
