What Are The Repercussions Of Accidentally Swallowing Flutibact Ointment?

Question: my 15 months old son has swallowed some flutibact ointment in afternoon. after that he vomited 3 times till now. he is feeling good now but should i consult a doctor immediately or shall i wait for some more time and observe him?
Brief Answer:
No immediate threat to your baby.Watch for another 24 hours.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir/Madam,
I understand your concern.
Since he vomited thrice, much of the drug might have been removed from the body.
Since he is currently okay, you need not worry much.
Since Flutibact is a steroidal ointment, there is a possibility of serum electrolyte disturbances.
Hence keep a watch on baby general behavior, urine output for next 24 hours.
Call for doctor's help only if there is a change in above parameters.
Adequate hydrate your child through ORS .
As of now, there seems to be no immediate threat.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
