Question : I took my second dose of carbamazepine by mistake 4 hours after taking the first dose. I take 490 mg twice a day. It is extended release. Is there anything I should do?

Just drink more fluids today

Nothing serious will happen,just drink more fluids today to facilitate drug excretion through kidneys. You may feel bit more sleepy so don't drive car. Also,skip the next dose of medication and then continue as usual. If you feel any unusual symptom,you should see doctor. Wish you good health. Regards
