Brief Answer:
Please don't worry. There is no reason for concern.

Detailed Answer:
Hello! I have been through your question.
Related your concern you should know that even that Clotrimazole Cream is for external use only it is very unlikely to cause problem. It is used as an oral medication. If your son looks fine, he is probably fine. There is nothing we would do in emergency.
It is known that overdose experience is limited with these agents. Due to minimal oral absorption and limited systemic toxicity, severe toxic effects following oral overdose is not anticipated. Ingestion of even large quantities should produce only minor GI symptoms. Treatment is usually unnecessary in this case.
So don't worry, he might get some diarrhea or vomiting, but I doubt event that. If this happens you should use tresol, a lot of water and probiotics.
During this time you should wash his mouth with water and to check him for any symptoms.

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.

In the event of diarrhea or vomiting, you recommended "tresol". What is tresol?

Brief Answer:
This is an oral rehydration solution with salt and electrolytes .

Detailed Answer:
Hello! thank you writing back in healthcare magic.

Tresol contain the salts and electrolytes — minerals such as sodium and potassium and is an oral re-hydration solution,( such as Pedialyte etc), to prevent dehydration or replace lost fluids and salts.

You should use any ORT to prevent dehydration and lost of electrolytes if he has diarrhea and vomiting.

I hope my answer helps you.
Feel free to ask me further.
