Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, Hi
I can understand your concern for the safety of the medicine Sibelium.
Sibelium (Flunarizine) is a calcium channel blocker basically used to prevent the frequency & the severity of MIGRAINE headaches. It is also effective in the treatment of vertigo (dizziness associated with diseases of the inner ear) and other neurological conditions.
The usual recommended dose is 10 mg /day to be taken at bedtime.
In case if it is consumed in larger doses like THREE tablets at once, it may result in overdose.
The symptoms of overdose include excessive drowsiness, confusion, depression (which may be associated with suicidal thoughts!), emotional upset, abnormal thinking, or anxiety.
If a person shows the above symptoms he or she must be taken to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Hope this answers your query.
Best regards.
