What Are The Repercussions Of Overdosing On Thyronorm?

Question: Hi,

I am 12 weeks along and have been prescribed Thyronorm 75 mcg which I usually take in the morning. I accidentally took another one tonight :( along with my folic acid (Is this combination harmful)... This was 12 hours apart but I am worried sick if this overdose might cause any harm to my baby.Please help me...Also please let me know if I should take one the immediate next morning or skip it..thanks

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Taking thyronorm with folic acid is not harmful at all.
Thyronorm, if taken at any other time of day except empty stomach, is ineffective and hence there are no chances of overdose or any harm to your baby.
I will suggest you to take thyronorm tomorrow morning as usual.

Thank you doctor. That is really helful.

The last meal I had yesterday was at 3.15 PM and I was feeling very nauseas to have anything after. Then I took Thyronorm and Folic Acid at 9.30 PM after having some coconut water..does it still count as not being taken on empty stomach!? Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
