Brief Answer:
monitor for changes in blood pressure and heart rate

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The maximum dose of toprol xl is up to 400mg in some persons in some conditions. This means that though you used more than your usual dose, it was still below the maximum possible dose that can be taken, so there is no risk of toxicity

Because however, it is higher than your usual or what you specifically may need, there maybe a drop in your blood pressure and heart rate.
This may not necessarily have a significant effect.

You should consider monitoring to see if any significant issues arise, this would present with dizziness and lightheaded sensation, weakness, shortness of breath, clammy, sweating, chest pain.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Thank you for your timely response. I will monitor as you suggested. I had to go do some ranch chores and so far no significant symptoms. Thanks again.
