What Are The Repercussions Of Taking An Expired Cialis?

default
Posted on Thu, 2 Jun 2016
Question: what unwanted effects would taking 8 year old (real) Cialis cause?

Could these old pills cause an itchy rash on my chest?
If so would I expect the same itchy reaction from new Cialis or new Viagra?

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

There would be no significant adverse reactions from taking an expired Cialis. Expired medications simply break down and lose their efficacy. It would be like taking a placebo.

You may be having flushing or an allergic reaction, both of which can happen with old or new Cialis or Viagra. If this rash appears again after taking either one, I would not take them anymore.

THANKS! Wow: The only "help" I got from XXXXXXX and Pfizer was someone reading from printed material I could see on their website and them telling me not to take expired drugs. Guess I take some again and see what happens So, any ideas about what else might have caused this mid-winter poison ivy-like rash that didn't want to go away even with two five day prednisone treatments?
That's my last (allowed) question.
Best regards, XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
It could be many things. Unusual for a rash not to respond to prednisone, unless it is not allergic. Could be flushing related to Cialis or Viagra, this can sometimes happen.

If it's itching then please try Tab Cetirizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for the next 3-4 days and see how you stay..
