Question : 3 years child has taken-2- tablets of 25mcg of Thyronorm erroneously. Tell us side effects and advise us the urgency

50 mcg of Thyronorm (thyroxin) is unlikely to cause any adverse effects. I would insist you to be patient and to observe the child. The possible side effects can be:
* Restlessness, agitation, sleeplessness
* Increased body temperature and sweating
* Palpitation and increased heart rate.
If apprehensive you can visit the ER.
