Brief Answer:
different possible effects, may not occur

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Benadryl is the trade name for the medication diphenhydramine. It is an anti histamine ,

It is used to treat allergies, insomnia, motion sickness, also used in coughs/colds.

The dose can vary but in general it is 25 to 50 mg every 6 to 8 hours.

Side effects may or may not occur and most persons use it with only the complaint of feeling tired, but can include: (1)sedation/drowsiness- not helpful in persons not using it to help sleep
(2)confusion
(3)decreased blood pressure
(4)nervousness
(5)dry mouth
(6)dry eyes
(7)constipation
(8)dizziness
(9)increased pulse rate
(10)urine retention
(11)tinnitus
(12)anemia

These are only possible side effects, the vast majority of persons use it with no effects at all (except sleepy) but if you are having side effects then you should discontinue it

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
