Question : My friend suddenly took 120tabs of cetrizine at a time yday night. V ve taken him.to.hospital. doctors ve not told.anythin til nw. I k w tat its a sleeping pill but Much worried whether thr wud b any adverse effect. Please suggest us any other measures to b taken

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. There is not much to be done in such an overdose. He would sleep for long. His vital signs (pulse, BP etc.) need close monitoring during this period, and his hydration would possibly be taken care of through IV fluids. Please do not grow apprehensive. Once the sleepiness subsides he should be back to normal. No other suggestions at the moment.
